Today we had an 11 hour journey from Dunedin to Invercargill. On the way we did loads of walks, and saw some pretty cool things! The best two by far had to be a walk out onto Cannibal Bay where we managed to get just a few metres away from some enormous sea lions - they were great fun to watch. We also went on a longer walk to see McLean Falls- this was definitely the most impressive waterfall we've seen in NZ - about 20 metres tall in total, it has many levels and the one at the top was a straight drop for about 10 metres! Today was more of a wildlife day and even though we didn't get to see any yellow eyed penguins the sea lions definitely made up for it! Really looking forward to our Milford Sound Cruise tomorrow (recently voted the most beautiful place in the world!) Fingers crossed for the weather!
