First and undoubtedly the most pressing thing I have to express, is that Queenstown is an absolute blast! Had the best time here. So, we arrived on Friday evening and had a little explore of the streets and what QT had to offer. As well as hundreds of crazy and expensive things to do, you can also do a lot of cheap, outdoor stuff in the spectacular surroundings of the Remarkable's mountain range, Lake Wakatipu and countless other scenic spots..we knew from the first few minutes we'd love it. Another thing is that everything to do is a five minute walk from the centre.. It's so compact! I also met up with a close friend from back home who I've known as long as I can remember, Henners, who also happened to be in QT too.. Small world hey! That evening we all went out, reminisced, drank beer and had a wicked evening at Cowboy Bar and World Bar!
