Today we took a very long bus journey to what was recently voted 'the most beautiful place on earth', Milford Sound. I haven't been everywhere on earth (yet) but for the moment I will have to agree with whoever gave it that title. The waterways and mountains were formed by a glacier that crashed its way through during the last ice age! It really is an incredible place. Today we had an 11 hour journey from Dunedin to Invercargill. On the way we did loads of walks, and saw some pretty cool things! The best two by far had to be a walk out onto Cannibal Bay where we managed to get just a few metres away from some enormous sea lions - they were great fun to watch. Yesterday we began our 3 day bottom bus trip, which takes us from QT to Dunedin, along the Catlins to Invercargill, then to Milford Sounds and finishing back in QT. A lot of travelling! Our stay last night was in Dunedin. On the way we visited Clyde Dam which produces 65% of NZ's power - was huge!
