Strong and a little rough around the edges, with an unusual bitter aftertaste. A slightly challenging toast/nutty flavour, which Al Bal liked but Foxy not so. AB

A cultured coffee. Smooth, yet powerful (I can tell by the way I have now woken up). This is a admirable effort. Cold tapwater. Check. Good temperature. Check. Room with a view. Check. Potentially, a little too much milk. But hold all the telephones, it appears Al Bal's coffee is not so milky, in fact, it is stronger than a strong thing at a strong man contest. (I actually quite like it, so we swap)So marks down for inconsistency. ...AND THEN THEY PLAYED JAMI...

Procured from a very interesting and characterful coffee shop, this coffee hit all the right notes. Milky yet characterful, it had a particular flavour of its own.We drank it from a takeaway cup, notwithstanding we feel compelled to mark it highly. Al Bal appeared to like it particularly, as I had to be quick to get my share. ;)Perfect temperature also. ...but in the final swig, there were many coffee grains. Penalty, unfortunately!
