Very strong - smells like freshly ground coffee! But smooth; "An iron fist in a velvet glove" according to Foxy. Not a super aftertaste - either a bit burnt, or too many coffee grounds making it into the final cup. Plus points for the lovely, airy cafe, which was pretty busy. They were a bit slow, but our raisin toast was very tasty. Reminded us of Re:hab in Cairns, so we awarded it the same score. AB

As lovely as the Mackay bnb was ( a whole flat to ourselves) we managed to have quite a poor nights sleep. Every place has a different air con unit, and we just can't figure them out!
