Arrive in Sydney this morning! Dodgy shuttle bus from the airport, which was so full the driver asked one chap to sit backwards on the space behind the gearstick. Safe. The shuttle dropped us at Central Station, and we checked in to our hostel; Wake Up Hostel. Instantly slightly regret our hostel choice - it's set up like a permanent freshers' week! After a quick shower to freshen up, we head out for a quick bite for lunch, then sort out bank account and pick up our debit cards (first joint account - ooooh).

Its pouring with rain. What is this weather Australia?! Bought some risotto for dins at the hostel. Quick drink in a bar on the way back, to plan our next moves. Back to hostel for quick nap (cos, old). Down to the kitchen for risotto, where the hostel's free wine event is going on. We feel old #pipeandslippers (but get a glass of wine anyway, cos, free. It's horrid). Then escape from the youngsters at the hostel into the rain to wander down Elizabeth Street. Found wifi!
