Even though our weather was dreadful in Kalbarri, we loved the place! It is such a pretty, peaceful town. We had strong winds and scuds of rain for two days but we got out and about when we could. We went for walks and played at the parks and beach. We drove through the beautiful National park looking at all the different cliff faces, they were stunning. On our way out of Kalbarri we drove into a Principality in Australia! I didn't even know there was one! It's called the Hutt River Province and is home to Prince Leonard and his sons. It has it's own money, stamps and religion!!! We met the man himself, who must be now in his 80's, and one of his sons shared lots of information with us. We drove on, through gorgeous undulating countryside, paddocks as green as can be, filled with some sort of grain. We drove through the town of Northampton which looked like a very nice country town but didn't stop unfortunately. We drove on to Geraldton for lunch and it reminded us very much of Newcastle. On the road again to Dongarra/Port Denison to set up. It's a pretty coastal town which we explored a little of this afternoon and will hope to get to the beach and parks tomorrow.

Nana Shame about the weather but in six months you have to get some wind and rain! The rock formations over there are amazing.
