We have spent the last four days on the Ningaloo reef at Osprey Bay in the Cape Range National park. A beautiful camp ground in a spectacular part of the country with white sandy beaches and clear blue water and reef all the way along, a haven for marine life. We spent the four days snorkelling, just strolling off the beach onto the reef, seeing an amazing array of marine life including spectacularly coloured tropical fish, turtles, spotted rays, schools of large fish, fat sea cucumbers and amazing giant clams. We also saw for the first time a crown of thorns and I saw an enormous puffer fish hiding under a bommie, the biggest I've ever seen in my life!
We also got to enjoy more stunning sunsets and moon rises. It was also lots of fun being able to catch up again with the two couples we had made friends with at Barn Hill as they were both staying here too. Our next move is south, down to Coral Bay for more amazing snorkelling.
