We left Darwin, a beautiful city, a little bleary eyed after our late night at the Speedway, and travelled to Litchfield National Park. We were very lucky to snap up the last site at Wangi Falls camp ground where we spent the rest of the afternoon swimming at Wangi Falls, just a short walk from the van. After leaving the Mary River we headed in towards Darwin. We visited an incredible wetlands centre that was completely designed for children. It was all interactive and hands-on and extremely interesting. We left there to have a quick lunch at Fogg Dam (a man-made wetland) then drove to the nearby Adelaide River Jumping Croc Cruise! Left Kakadu and drove on to Shady Camp for the night. It wasn't my favourite spot I have to admit.... A haven for crocs, snakes and mozzies!
