Seaslug restaurant
Ate on the beach. Sand between our toes. Shared a snapper and tiger prawns.
Snapper was cooked in ginger and garlic.
The prawns had a really filipino sauce which was sweet sugar and mild garlic. Need to get recipe.
So used to just eating a garlic and lemon dish of prawns that the sweetness sounds weird but it really works. Especially when you drink calamasi juice (their limes which have a nice orange bitter flavour)
Here they love bitter sour sweet dishes.
