Street breakfast of casava and some sweet bread buns Our pancake lady wasn't up early enough :) Sumang Kamoteng Kahoy (Cassava Wrapped in Banana Leaves) Casava was nicely presented in the banana leaf. It's sweet sticky and wet tastes like a coconut sweet flour paste. To make just mix sugar coconut and casava, wrap up and steam. It would fill you up pretty quickly.

Tao Philippines Lunch on the beach Vegetable coconut curry Okra banana yams green beans. Everything was cooked al dente and the coconut curry sauce was slightly sweet.

Philippines has an impressive snack collection. I love these little perforated crackers. I particularly love the name. Sky flakes :) They taste like Jacobs crackers and water biscuits mixed.
