Deep fried river fish heaven with garlic and a really spicy chilli sauce. Sticky rice too as now we can't get enough ! Total converts :) Had such a great taste with refresh lime, chilli sauce and seriously fresh fish. Really was delicious.

Larb or laab chicken salad V traditional food Minced meat with mint and scallions served with sticky rice. Straight away we both missed the chilli paste and sauces from the hike. This dish is often served like a cerviche and raw or marinated. This one was wok cooked. It was light and refreshing but would have like lettuce with it :) good to try this dish anyway as think it's one of the national dishes. Ate it on a veranda overlooking Mekong in the super ch...
