Day 44: We arrive at Tumbling Waters CP, which is just down the road from Berry Springs, set up and Harry and Darcy make us lunch.
We are back in humidity, so we all have a refreshing swim in the pool. There are a lot more New South Welshmen and Victorians up here...we assume they are on their way to Broome. The grey nomad season is picking up the pace now we are heading into June.
Our friends, Bruce and Anne, have coordinated with us to meet up again, as we didn't get to say goodbye with what happened with us on the Gibb River Rd.
They arrive and camp behind us, and so we get to spend the evening with them hearing all about their very wet trip on the GRR...what an adventure!
It's a great evening and lovely to share our experiences with each other. They're heading to Dundee Beach, 80kms further along the road and so we plan to catch up again out there or over in Central QLD.
We plan on staying here for about five days, and make it our base for Litchfield NP and a few other things.
