Day 16: We left Katherine late, after an easy morning and another swim at the springs. Today we have it all to ourselves, so I have a go on the rope swing...not a pretty sight! But fun all the same. This is such a beautiful spot and I definitely recommend it.

We drive south-west towards Kununurra and man is it hot! But we endure and watch the landscape change and spot a multitude of different birds. Budgies, finches, brolgas, the beautiful Jabiru...so many! We see Boab trees of all different sizes...and we even see a water buffalo!

The sheer rock faces have returned and we are parked at the foot of one. We set the van and crack a nice cold one, and watch the sun go down...oranges, reds, even purples. The boys are off catching lizards. Why would we want to be anywhere else?
