Hi,

So in this v hot country I have managed to get a cold! I think it must be going from air-con to hot environment all the time!

I lead a reading group in the Library the other day which I enjoyed. Like in primary school the girls are put on a certain level of reading book. All the books in the library are donations and bizarely they are all Enid Blyton etc, so I am reading the famous five etc with the girls! They have baby sitters club books which some are reading so its a real blast from the past!

I have just found out that I have another bank holiday coming up on the 19th May and that also I will be finishing my teaching earlier than expected! All schools and colleges go on at least a one week holiday from the 23rd May. We can stay at the project if we wish but I will have seen all of KL that I would want by then I think! So I will have just over a week before I head to Borneo, so I have decided to head to Langkawi and Penang two Islands off Malaysia. So infact I only have 12 days of teaching left!

This weekend just gone I went to see the Batu Caves in Selangor, they are huge Limestone caves where Hindu shrines have been created. I also went to Hindu Temple in China Town with some of the students on sunday morning. Claire and I were both dressed up in Punjabi suits for the occasion!

This weekend I am hoping to go to FRIM where there is a Rainforrest canopy walkway. I am then on the sunday, hoping to go and visit the Elephant Sanctuary where you feed, bathe and swim with the elephants int he river!

Thats all for now, I had best get back to my lesson plans!
