Hello!

Well since my last blog I did indeed go to the fish spa and get my feet eaten! I think my feet must be really in bad condition becuase I had nearly a whole shoal at one point eating my feet whereas some people had very few! You all side round the side of a spa like pool and dip your feet in. It was packed! It takes a bit of getting used to, it doesnt hurt and mostly tickles! Since then I have been busy lesson planning and teaching. I am currently in an internet cafe creating a lesson on how to use powerpoint. The girls need to know how to use the basic microsoft office applications in order to get their microsoft certificates.

Jennifer left yesterday as her time at the project was up, I think she was looking forward to going home as she had been away from home for about three months and the project can be quite draining!

It is labour day today in Malaysia so its a bank holiday so there are no lessons. I had a lie in and then spent it wandering around Mederka square in the colonial district, with all the beautiful old buildings that the English built before we left! I then had a wander around some of the air-conditioned malls as it was incredbily hot today. I have stumbled accross the malaysian version of topshop and its half the price which is good as my shorts no longer fit me due to the new food regime of rice veg, rice veg repeatedly. Even with a belt they still hang off me!

The new volunteer arrives tomorrow, I think she is called Claire. So I think i will spend Fri evening and some of the weekend showing her the local amenities etc.

Anyway I had better get on with my lesson plan!
