Day 20 - Another warm day, with to-day being our final full day in London. We headed off to St Pauls Cathedral and were greeted with rather large queues. Day 19 - A fine and sunny day, we headed into the city around 9am & met up with Matt (our guide) at Piccadilly Circus for our 2 hour walking tour of the changing of the guard. Day 18 - Our accommodation here in London does not include breakfast, a bit of a change from the last 2 & a half weeks. Two blocks away is Bayswater Rd which is full of small restaurants, pubs, souvenir shops, McDonalds and Subway. Our choices are many. Day 17 - We decided to try for an earlier start than normal, as we wanted to tour the Dover castle before our last motoring trip into London. As it turned out the castle didn't open 'til 10 o'clock. (could of had a sleep-in). We were one of the first to enter this massive castle, with many buildings covering many acres and situated on the cliffs above the town and harbour. Day 16 - Left a very comfy B&B at Winchester about 9.30 and headed east on some busy country highways. With the start of the working week, I guess that is to be expected. We turned off the main arterial at Petersfield and headed south to Havant on the coast. The run along the coast was even more congested, but the scenery was more varied.
