Day 27 - A cool start to a fine day and we were off to the station to catch the 8.35 train to Prague. Due to technical problems with the train we were delayed an hour so our 4 and a half hour train trip got us into Prague around2.15pm. A slower train than before which allowed us to take in some great scenery as much of the trip was through valleys and along side fast flowing rivers. Day 26 - The weather changed today with cool & overcast conditions. We headed out prepared for rainy weather, but as it turned out, the rain stayed away. We joined a walking tour group at 10.30am, meeting up with our guide Alex at the Hackescher Markt Plazt. He was a newly graduated uni student with a masters in German History. Day 25 - Our run of good weather continues. We took a short cab ride to Heidelberg station and had a relaxing 5 hour ride into Berlin, with only a couple stops on the way. This trip (on a train they call the "ICE" Inter City Express (I think)) was not as quick as the Paris to Heidelberg TGV. We hit a top speed of only 200kph and cruised around 140kph.
