Day 15 - Another fine day saw us leave Clevedon behind. Our initial plan was to get to Lands End but that was another 180 miles further south west which meant that we would be retracing our steps for about 120 miles. Day 14 - We are again enjoying a beautiful sunny day. Leaving our best B&B so far (hosted by very friendly & helpful Craig & Emma) at Betws-y-coed (pronounced Betseecood - I think!). We crossed back into England around lunch time at Druid and headed east, skirting around Shrewsbury to Bridgnorth. Day 13 - The rained had eased as we headed out of Prestatyn for a run along the coast to Conyn. We left the coast behind and headed south towards a region called Snowdonia. Our fine start to the day soon changed again when we got into the hills. Our next stop was a farm shop at Bodnant. This was a centre that specialised in Welsh local food. Day 12 - Well, it didn't last. The clouds and rain were to be with us all day. We followed the coast south from Blackpool, stopping at Lythan to visit a restored windmill. Located right on the beach, it was used to mill flour back in the 18th century. A very well preserved piece of history. Our next coastal stop was Southport. The beaches here are nothing like ours.
