Day 4 - It was bags packed, left at reception & off to explore Edinburgh Castle. It opened at 9.30 and already there were hundreds lined up, fortunately most had pre-booked so the queue to the ticket office was a small one. Day 3 - Early start today 4am rise to catch 7.50 flight from Dubai to Glasgow. Arrived to a fine and warm day. Straight from airport by shuttle bus to railway station to head to Edinburgh. Arrived Edinburgh and booked into the Mercure situated close to the city centre. - not quite what we expected very small rooms and no aircon - not as hot as Dubai but definitely hot and stuffy.
