Day 32 - Departed sunny Innsbruck around 9.30. Today was going to be a 7 hour train journey with a scenic run and change at Zurich, then on to Bern for a change to the high speed ICE (inter city express) train into Interlaken in Switzerland. Arrived here about 4pm, checked in to the Rossli Hotel nearby and decided to have a walk around Interlaken for a few hours. Day 31 - Another sunny day for a 2 hour train ride to Innsbruck. Accommodation was at the Hotel Weisses Freuz in downtown Innsbruck. A very old but tidy hotel that once accommodated Mozart. As we had arrived early, our rooms weren't ready, so we decided to make the most of the short stay here. We purchased a day pass that got you into & on to everything in the town. Day 30 - At Salizburg and still can't believe the run of great weather. We booked a 4hour "Sound of Music" tour, picked up by the coach from our hotel, The Holiday Inn, and headed out to see most of the places in Salzburg where the filming took place. The entire film took 12 months to shoot and started back in 1964. Places included Leopoldskrom Palace beside the lake where, in the film, the boat capsized. We passed the Nonnberg Abbey where Maria (Julie Andrews)...
