Up early and a crap breakfast then onto the bus for our transfer to the airport. We are very down as we have had little sleep the last 10 days and will miss the group. The trip through the craziness of the traffic and trash lined streets was pretty uneventful and we eventually arrived at the airport. I'm not feeling well so it will be another long day. To make things worse I had my jeans saturated by a tap in the toilet right in the wrong place. Great! Now I have to walk around like I pissed my pants.
We arrived in Athens and navigated our way to the hotel. It was so nice being back on streets where cars conform to the rules and things are clean. We even have real toilets and not just holes in the floor. Our balcony has a view of the Parthenon which looks beautiful lit up at night.
We grabbed some dinner and supplies from the supermarket before retiring for an uneventful night and much needed sleep. Tomorrow we will spend a bit of time on the internet looking for jobs and a place to live. We have made a decision to give London a crack for a while so at least we have a plan now.
