Along with Rowan and Abby, we decided to make our way up the coast to Russell. New Zealand's original capital city. This was where Captain Cook first landed in NZ.It's understandable why it is no longer the capital - it's tiny with nothing nowt going on! We had a quick look round which didnt take long and contemplated a walk up a hill to give us an excellent view of the 'bay of islands', but with the weather being nice and warm, sun shining and with not a cloud in the sky, it seemed a waste to spend it walking outdoors, well, especially when there was such a nice pub and beer garden in the town.
