Today we got to celbrate St. Patrick's Day in Cork! What better place to spend this Irish holiday? There were festivities in Cork over the weekend, including street vendors and performers. On Tuesday, all classes at UCC were canceled. There was a parade in Cork at 1:00pm and celebrations started as early as 10:00am! The streets of Cork were really crowded. My friends and I were actually overdressed compared to the Cork locals. Many locals just had a green hat or green necklace on, but us tourists stuck out in our all-green attire. It was more fun that way! Happy St. Patrick's Day!
