This week was UCC's Raise and Give Week (R&G), which is their annual fundraising week. UCC's Student Union coordinates different events to raise awareness and money for different charities. We've been trying out new places to eat lately, and have had some really good meals. Before I came, I really wasn't sure what to expect in terms of food, as I had heard the food here used to be on the not so great side. The most actually authentic type Irish dishes I've had are fish and chips and beef stew.
