I was so excited to see Dash.
And he was pretty excited to see me.
I went in through the front door and he was asleep at the back door.
Moment of recognition and away we went.

Bella was only slightly slower with the welcome.
Then she warmed up very quickly.

Mum and I spent the morning unpacking my case, telling stories and sorting loot.
It was a great morning.
Jewellery, statues, coins, clothes, ( tops and shirts especially!) pearls, magnets, postcards and paintings were examined and exclaimed over.
Presents given.

Lovely, lovely welcome home.
We chatted for hours.

Then, Mum headed home and I closed the case.

That was it.

Another ABSOLUTELY incredible journey.

I think I flew.
I certainly tried hard to fly.
( Except off the balcony.)

I was first up.
I was first to the head of the queue.
I was first behind Sibilia and Tiago and every local guide.
And I sat.
And ate.
And enjoyed it.
( Obviously finally 'getting it'.)

I sat and soaked it all in.
I walked and soaked it all in.
I climbed and soaked it all in.
I faced off against hungry peacocks.
I photo bombed Korean tourists on a rainswept wooden bridge over cascading rapids at Roski Slap in Kyka National Park.
I hiked mountain trails above Split, got a bit spooked by the loneliness of the trails and about turned to the view and the cool shade of Cafe Vidilica.

I WALKED THE WALL AT DUBROVNIK.

I followed in the footsteps of Game of Thrones.
I even sat on the Throne.

I gazed out windows at the views.
I stood on balconies looking at the views.
I walked castle walls looking at the views.

I got a tan.

And I did lots and lots and lots more ....

I loved it.
