I wandered the narrow lanes of this wonderful old town.
They had fire alarms attached to the church bells!
It was an amazing place.

I found this wonderful gallery, Objectos do Olhar, and was enthralled by the hand painted artwork inside.
After long chats to the owners/artists, I settled on a beautiful hand painted table cloth that they had on a wonderful, old table.

The way the price in Euros is written can be a bit scary.
This tablecloth was €90.00.
I was terrified that this was actually €9000 but, after much discussion ...
( A bit hard as my Portuguese was non existent and their English was the same.)
I decided that, if it was €9000, my credit card would reject it anyway ...
So I bought that wonderful, hand painted work of art.

I love it.

It now decorates The Folly, draped over the back of my white couch.

So I decided to write to Junia and say how much I loved having her work in my house in Australia.
And I included 3 photos.
