So, better prepared this time.
All pot plants located where they could get rained on.
Watered everything that needed watering.
Cleared out the fridge.
Emptied the bins.
Freed the fish.
( Felt like I was releasing Elsa into the wild.)
They'll like the pond.
And packed!
16.6kgs.
Pretty good, huh?
Emily arrived about 2.30pm.
We chatted etc.
Dash got very excited.
And Emily sat and picked up a blog book from our trip to Paris.
And she was reading where I face planted in Paris.
Now I distinctly remember her laying in bed that night in Paris laughing uncontrollably about my misstep.
For 30 minutes.
Well, she started up again ...
And was laughing so hard she almost got hiccups.
Was so much fun.
So, case in Emily's car.
Checked passport etc... ( a few times )
We're off.
Very wet on the Monash.
Passenger in a car next to us acting peculiarly.
Pointing at the front wheel.
Flat tyre?
Nope.
The chassis fell off.
Well, probably not the chassis technically.
Some plasticy cover thingy over the chassis under the car.
( Neither of us do cars well.)
Obviously, fell off and out between the back wheels and smashed into a million pieces.
( Emily watched it all happen in the rear view mirror.)
So we turned round.
Drove back to my place.
Unpacked her car.
Packed my car.
Bit off worry here.
After all, we had already packed a car once.
Everything in this one?
Case?
Hand luggage?
Handbag?
And we were off.
It was very wet on the Monash.
Not a single piece of chassis plasticy cover thingy to be seen anywhere.
So, we really enjoyed the trip to the airport in my car.
( Emily loved the automatic!)
And Emily's car now living at my place until Roger can have a look underneath and see what the story is.
And Emily has my car.
So originally, we left at 4.30pm.
Next time we left, it was at 5pm.
Arrived at Tulla at 6pm.
Great trip.
(The second one.)
Gate H was open so checked the 16.6kg suitcase in.
Said goodbye to Emily at the International Gate.
Huge waves.
Huge hugs.
No tears.
( I think she was just too excited about having an automatic!)
And through the doors I went.
So easy.
No queues.
Passport is scanned.
You stand and the computer looks at your face.
Decides if you are good looking enough to travel.
And off you go.
No people.
Not like last time, Emily.
So quick.
Walked through the scanner and I'm in.
Now that bought back memories.
I could see you and I wandering here last time.
Am at Gate 11.
( Technically Gate 11a. They haven't opened 11 yet.)
And am blogging.
Had fun today Emily.
Huge thanks.
Hi to everyone.
I'm leaving in 90 minutes!
And I haven't eaten one KitKat yet!
( Decided it was a 4 KitKat journey.)
I'm on Wifi so if you comment, I'll see them.
Talk later.
Love to everyone xxxx

Emily Hi Mum. The auto car trip home was a pleasure. It's now tucked up safe in my garage awaiting it's next city driving adventure. It likes turning right.. Must have you to thank for that! Hope you slept on the plane. You know I would have... After I hid a kit Kat so I could make sure there was one left for me when I woke up!Love you
Wilson Hi Carolyn! its Wilson here from work ! wow.. sounds like an adventure has started already and you haven't even left yet! you have a natural way of writing blogs and its quite entertaining! hope the plane ride was pleasant and looking forward to more blogs to read 7am in the morning before I start my work :D p.s. just realised you have done soo many blogs already when I scrolled to the bottom and saw the 'table of contents'! the catch up game has begun.. From the other side of the world, Wilson :)
Chris Cliff Hi Carolyn, 2 days into your trip and already the drama has started, cannot believe that Em's car fell apart on the monash, suppose it could have been a lot worse, bit like the boy who put the sign on his father's car "Honk if you're horny". we can always laugh about these things afterwards, just catching up on the blogs - catch ya later ... Chris
Sue I bet Emily is loving driving your CAR, off and running, bet your not sorry to leave this weather...keep safe and as always have a ball. xoxo
