...we wake up after this stay's coldest night (0.6 C in the tent, around 6C less outside) and in good spirits and are happy to see it's sunny again!
...we plan to leave for camp 1 with equipment after lunch; unfortunately a snow storm comes out of the blue before we can leave and so the plan is postponed until tomorrow;
...we order another pizza (last nice meal - is what we keep telling ourselves each time we pay big $$$ for luxury meals here) and spend our day in the tent gossiping and reading; cool relaxation!
...we buy Internet access (15 mins for €10 at Inka) and share it between the two of us but it's so pathetically slow that neither of us is happy); btw last year they still charged by the minute; this year it's 15 minute minimum.
...we find out weather forecast is maintained for 12 and 13 being the quietest (wind wise) and sunniest days to attack the summit and we plan accordingly! - keep your fingers crossed!
