...nothing much happens except that the hike to Plaza de Mulas is noticeably harder than last year and the weather is much worse (cold, snow) and it is 9 hours of hard going..
...we are all exhausted and we find out that the radios Seba bought are mere walkie-talkies and can't contact park rangers with them.
...we check in and because of a clerical error on our Lanko voucher we get another night in the big tent for free, for which we are eternally grateful (we are too bummed to pitch our tent).
...we order pizza (the only thing Javier the chef - who I remember fondly from last year btw - can prepare at a last minute's notice) and as guys are already in their sleeping bags I deliver it to them in a snowstorm from the kitchen!)
...I spend a cold night in my sleeping bag and find out I might need to rent another one as my old feathers don't cut it in those temperatures anymore (-5C at night)
