B & J`s Adventures
Naissaar is a small island off Tallinn, unfortunately we had to leave the rally to be sure of getting to Helsinki so we can catch the ship to St Petersburg, now we are only 40 miles away so even with the storms that are expected we should still be on schedule. It felt like summer had arrived today, after a cold start we had a lovely sunny trip. Naissaar is trying to establish its self as a holiday island, it has fantastic beaches and lots of walking trails. The whole island is criss-crossed by narrow gauge railways that were built in the First World War. In the Cold War the Russians used the island as a store and mine workshop.
