B & J`s Adventures
Arrived here after a 50 nm sail, another bad day for weather F 7 most of the day, luckily from behind so good speed was achieved and the rain held off. There is not much I can say about Kuivastu except that it's a ferry port and has a Marina nothing else. All Estonian marinas so far charge 25 euros. To me this is excessive. The buildings on the photo, like so many in Estonia are run down and unloved, a lot uninhabited. This building was a pub/ shop in the 1920s and was made famous in the books by Auther Ransoms who sailed his yacht Racundra all over this part of the world including up through Moon sound where he brought eggs and milk at this now derelict building. This is no longer possible.
