So after leaving the UK 35 hours ago, we've finally made it to our starting destination, Cairns!!! The hostel 'Dreamtime' is amazing so far! We're having a BBQ tonight with the rest of the guests where crocodile and kangaroo are on the menu! Looking forward to picking up the campervan (our new home for the next 3 weeks) tomorrow! So glad we are staying in a hostel for the first night, I didn't sleep a wink on the plane! Not much more to say really, just looking forward to doing as many activities as possible this week before moving on to the next town along the East Coast.
