I was woken up at 7 am by some very annoyed South African woman that Sarah and I might have accidentally woken up at 4 in the morning, kinda understandable I suppose! She was banging stuff around so loud, really great for my hangover! We got ready and packed the majority of our stuff up as check out was bang on 11 and they lock you out of the room. We did some washing together and used the tumble dryer as needed to be gone by 2 pm. I ironed a few bits and pieces ...

It was so nice to wake up in a proper bed although I missed Sar! You know your good friends when you've been in each other's pockets 24/7 for 3 weeks and we still love each other's company, or at least I think she does. The wifi was really good at the hostel so I managed to FaceTime Nia! It was so good to speak to her! We spoke for over an hour just gossiping away as we do. We woke up in the cold miserable rain...I'm already missing the sunshine! It turns out Sydney had a massive storm which we were just on the outskirts of, it was bad enough though. We quickly got ready and hit the road, only an hour until Sydney! I felt really exhausted from all that travelling yesterday and not a great nights sleep but just had to get on with it, it's not everyday your in Sydney! So today we had to drive down to Sydney! We got in from our night out at about 2 am and were woken by someone shaking the van...That was an experience! We woke up about 8.30, very hungover! After showering, we headed to the hostel cafe for breakfast which consisted of a toastie and 2 bars of chocolate...Fab start to the day! We left at 11 am and Sarah drove for the first 3 and half hours. We stopped for lunch (more crap) then I drove for the next 3 and half hours...

We set off pretty early from the rest area as wanted to go see the views at the lighthouse on the most easterly point in Australia! They did not disappoint! It was amazing! Apparently you're able to see lots of whales and dolphins from there but we weren't lucky enough to see any. We went to the little lighthouse cafe after all that sight seeing for an ice cream. We both had chocolate Mars ice cream which in both our opinions was the BEST ice cream we've ever had...
