So we didn't quite make it to Noosa beach last night, I was so tired driving and we ended up taking a different route to what we planned which meant we drove through a forest for 50 miles! It was pitch black, foggy, no other cars or houses, just the odd creepy looking one, I mean why the hell would you want to live in the middle of no where unless you're weird and scary and probably a murderer! I had such a bad feeling about it all and managed to scare to hell out of Sarah by telling her about the film 'Wolf Creek' based in the out back, so we thought it was best to stop at a rest point for the night. The first place we came to was horrendous! It was a truck stop for all the drivers and after 10 minutes of being there and having the truckers 'advise' us on the best spot to park for the night that happened to be around the back in the darkest spot covered in trees where if we screamed no one would hear us, we thought against the idea and got out of there pretty sharpish! The next stop along was ideal, right next to a forest where you could hear all the birds, frogs, insects and whatever else as clear as day! It sounds horrible but I really liked it! We set off in the morning nice and early, 3 hours left until we reached Noosa. Once we arrived, we went to a Surf club restaurant that over looked the beach and had lunch. After, we went for a walk around the town and I bought some cute little shorts. Noosa is an incredible place! It was so posh, very different to every other beach we've been to. There were some amazing apartments, hotels, restaurants and bars. It seemed to be a place older people tend to go and it didn't have the same young party scene which was actually quite refreshing (now I sound old!). After that we just lay on the beach for the last few hours of sun. We then headed to the main strip to find a place that had wifi... We have nicknamed ourselves 'the wifi chasers', we'll do anything or go anywhere for a bit of wifi! We even lurk outside of shops at night when they've left it on accidentally! Love it when that happens! I managed to FaceTime Jodie which I was over the moon about as really missing her! Then we set of for our next campsite, Maroochydore Beach Holiday Park, had a nice ...much needed shower, and bed! Luckily, the campsite had free wifi which was awesome! I've been needing to put all my photos taken so far into Dropbox but I need wifi and lots of battery, two things I'm struggling to get hold of at the same time. However, Dropbox was taking forever so I gave up in the end and decided just to wait until we get to Sydney where hopefully the hostel will have decent wifi! Sarah was over the moon as she could watch a film in bed that she stayed awake for 10 seconds for, and as per usual I have to turn off! We're literally like a married couple!
