I woke up this morning at around 7am and face timed mum which was nice! We charged our cameras and phones and set off for Cedar Creek waterfall. Whilst driving there we met some other travellers that told us the waterfall didn't exist at the moment as there hasn't been enough rainfall. So we headed just a bit further on to Conway Beach. The sea was so far out, maybe a mile and there were jellyfish everywhere so we drove back the other way towards Hideaway Bay. The roads were amazing! So straight and awesome scenery! Hideaway beach was just incredible. It felt like a hidden gem as we pretty much had the beach to ourselves and it hadn't been taken over by tourism, no shops or cafes anywhere which was actually really refreshing. We stayed there for a while and chilled on a hammock. We started to get hungry so asked a local where was best to eat. She directed us to the next beach along, Dingo Beach. It was only a short drive away. It was typical Ozzy style diner, again very few people there. After getting some dinner, we decided to head back. Driving back in the afternoon sun, straight roads with the tunes blasting, such a good feeling! We got back to the campsite about an hour later, got dressed up and headed out with the guys we met last night for another night on the Airlie Beach strip!
