Explored the most amazing place today! A half hour fairly steep walk up to the top of the waterfall, into the most amazing natural setting I have seen!! There was a series of plunge pools, and the ultimate infinity edge pool-overlooking the valley. All the pools were sandy bottomed-they looked man made, but even still more beautiful than any resort could be. Photos couldn't capture it! We packed lunch and ended up swimming and exploring a fair way up the pools! There was a series of waterfalls flowing into the "top" pool. After a long time in the water, we followed the lizards lead- and heated ourselves on the rocks. The kids were delighted with the fish, and we were delighted with the feeling of awe/insignificance the pools gave us!! And all for $4/night per person!!

We spent the later part of the afternoon cooking our bread, John made a fantastic chocolate cake, then a late afternoon swim in the bottom pool.

After dinner Craig and I took the kids spotlighting to the bottom pool. The kids were horrified to see the shining eyes of 2 freshwater crocodiles that reside in the bottom pool! I don't think they will swim in the bottom pool again!

We decided to stay another night to head back up to the top pools again.....ahh....loving life.
