Day 2 in Cooinda. Slow start to the morning, then checked out the cultural centre. Very informative centre, highlighting the local Aboriginal culture and the history of Kakadu. The kids really enjoyed the dreamtime stories, and they stayed to read all the info they could.

We went on a cruise on the Yellow Water Billabong late in the afternoon. It was a relaxing way to see the billabong, loads of crocodiles and bird and plant life. Again we listened to history and cultures of the local people. It was so strange-having to be somewhere at a certain time-the kids were so excited, they were showed and ready to go an hour before departure!!

To end a great day-we had dinner in the bistro.....not really camping!
