After a big day yesterday and checkout being generously not until noon we had a lazy morning before going for a walk to Grafton street & St Stephens Green and then returned to the hotel for our airport bus at 2.50. We thought we would be at the airport with lots of time on our hands for our 5.25 flight but by the time we lined up for the bag drop & then security we only had about 20mins to grab a late lunch before heading to the gate. We were flying with Cityjet & it ended up being quite a small plane (17 rows) but luckily not bumpy on our way to London city airport. I'd never flown into this little airport before nor taken the light rail which we took to Bank then took the tube to Vauxhall where we were staying at the Travelodge. Conveniently there was a Little Waitrose attached to the hotel so we just got a takeaway dinner. I enjoyed a healthy salad with some edamame beans & strawberries!
