Day 98 (LaTrobe University) - Bendigo, Victoria Australia
Another family tea night. This one was how REAL family dinners are: I had two playing squash from 6 until 7, another had work at 6:30pm (so I had to make his dinner early), and a few were coming late from home - like I said, a real family dinner. Tonight's feast included my personal favorites: French toast, scrambled eggs, and bacon. Thankfully Gabby was able to help me cook. Nathan tried to help, I think he cracked two eggs...I think everyone like it.It's hard work cooking for people! Making sure there's enough food, that it's warm, what a challenge.I'm always exhausted after doing cooking programs. The prep, cooking, eating (which is usually what's ever left and is usually cold), then clean up. This time Liam did most of the washing, so that was nice. But my throat is KILLING me. It's clear the medicine is done working. Why? Why am I sick again? I think it's kind of funny how me taking five classes, doing a full time RA job, being involved on campus, etc., only gets me sick maybe once or twice a semester, and here I'm taking four classes, and really don't have any commitments, but I'm sure it's all due to stress that's wearing my body down. Strange. Lose "normalicy," living in a foreign country, and not having your support system does that to you.
