Disappointing start to the day. Discovered a handbag and contents scattered behind our car. Turns out the locals had been through the caravan park overnight. They entered an unlocked van whilst the occupants were still asleep and stole the handbag, making off with $1000 cash and a mobile phone. Bit scary, moral to the story, always lock everything at night.
Made our way accross the NT border today, tough headwinds for driving and not great fuel economy. Landscape obviously desolate once again.
Arrived and stayed at the turnoff to Uluru - a lovely little Oasis called Erldunda. Erldunda is the "Centre of the Centre of Australia". Couple of drinks at the Erldunda Roadhouse/Tavern before walking back to our grassy site.
No TV reception - no worries. AFL Live App & Innoio Smart Beam Pico Projector bluetoothed through the caravan outdoor speakers. May get a bit of use on the holidays.
