Today is another super special edition with Jack typing!!!!!!!!!
This morning we woke up in the crappiest caravan park ever.
We were going to go to some of Litchfield's most amazing landmarks today!
First we went to the Bamboo Creek Tin Mine. Even though it wasn't even 400 metres walk it felt a lot more cause of the temperature! It was only about 10 in the morning but 32 degrees!
Next we went to the Cascades (waterfalls) that was 1.3 kilometres walk and now it was 34 degrees! So we obviously had to walk back that made the walk 2.6 kilometres.
After the Cascade we went to the Wangi falls cafe to have lunch and then went to the Blyth homestead but we couldn't because there was a great big water crossing with crocs in it so we skipped that to go to Tolmer lookout but that was closed for construction and would have turned a 10 minute walk into a 2 hour walk so we skipped that and went to lost city and finally something that we could do. The lost city actually never was a city but all the sandstone formation made it look a bit like a city. On the way it was a big 4WD track.
After that we went to the Florence falls lookout because the actual walk was way too hard in 34 degrees but it looked AMAZING!
That night we decided not to stay at the crappy caravan park so we just went to Batchelor. We packed up our caravan in 15 minutes, dropped in to Wangi Falls on the way for any amazing swim under the waterfalls with our noodles then left.
Batchelor Holiday Park was lovely, a very tidy town. Beautiful birds and somewhere to kick the footy.
