Hello everyone, I spent the first night in my new flat last night and it was all fine and dandy. I'm sharing with five 3rd year Chinese Malaysian medical students who are all really friendly and generous. We sat up talking for a few hours last night. Helen and I also checked out the terrace and pool on the 5th floor which is all very swanky :) Last night we had to head into the city centre as Helen needed a sheet for her bed and I needed a pillow (somehow we only had one complete set of bedding between us!) and got stuck in rush hour traffic on the way home - lesson learned, don't try and leave KL in a taxi between 6 and 8:30! Today has been another good morning on the wards and we have been invited to attended a renal medicine conference this evening - my consultant is taking us. I am on a renal medicine ward and am actually learning a lot which will be useful for my exams next year. This weekend we are planning to see Chinatown and the botannical gardens in KL and aim to find an internet cafe somewhere to contact you all, Lots of love, Amy x x
