Hello everyone, we have made it to Kuala Lumpur - with a slight delay on one of the flights (7 hours in Muscat airport, Oman, was not exactly action packed!). We are staying a really nice hotel right next to the main eating, shopping and nightlife street in KL. It is really busy everywhere with people and traffic. Tom would love the monorail which cuts right through this part of the city - we went on it yesterday. We've found Topshop (go on Mum-laugh!) and it turns out that it is as expensive as England :( but everything else is cheap. Today we went to the University and found where we need to be tomorrow. It looks like a very swanky hospital! Tonight we plan on some yummy food and lots more sleep (we managed 15 hours last night!!!) before starting our placement tomorrow.
