We were up early and left Mingenew by 8 am. It rained through the night and is much cooler now. My throat is still sore - can't believe it has been sore for so long. We got to New Norcia about 5 past 11 and the tour of New Norcia we wanted to see started at 11 am so we quickly parked, bought our tickets and caught up to the group of about 35 with Erica our guide. The tour was very interesting as we made our way from building to building listening to the story of New Norcia unfold. We then had lunch at the pub and did a further tour of the museum and art gallery. It was a grat day and we then had to go another 80 odd klms to get to Toodyay which took us till 5 pm. We went to the wrong park to start with but eventually checked in here which is a real bush park not far from the race track. It is going to be really cold tonight - 1 degree so the heaters are out. Got the Dr's phone number from the guy in the office and will call them in the morning if my throat is still bad. We went to The Freemasons Pub for tea and were back at the van by 8.15 pm. Watching a bit of TV tonight.
