We said goodbye to Trevor and Debbie and set off about 9 am towards Geraldton. A very pretty drive along the coast road with crops of wheat, cattle and sheep grazing in very large paddocks of rolling green pastures. We arrived at Geraldton at the Sunset Beach Park which is right on the beach. Just walk to the edge of the park and you are on the beach. Another lovely sunny warm day. We had a look in town and had lunch at Skeeta's and decided it was worth booking for dinner tonight. We then took the patrol to a car wash as it looked pretty neglected but not many places prior to here can you wash your vehicle or van. We then went to the Visitor Centre and planned our day tomorrow. My shoulder is still giving me trouble so came back to the can for a bit of a rest. Went down on to the beach for the sunset and then got ready to go back into town for dinner. The seafood platter for two was really nice with oysters, prawns, fish, calamari and half a small crayfish each. Came back to the van to watch the last quarter of North beating Collingwood. Geraldton seems like a nice city of about 36,000.
