Pancakes for breakfast this morning and then we had to prepare a picnic lunch. We set of in two vehicles - ours and Burkes. We had mud maps of 4 wheel drive tracks around the area north of Coral Bay. At one of the places we stopped over some sand dunes David got stuck and we had to tow him out-first forwards but he was too stuck so Gerry had to hook onto the back of his vehicle and tow him out. There was sand going everywhere and quite a bit of excitement. At one stage David almost ran over Julie as he was reversing and because he had his rear window covered to avoid it being broken he did not see her - not funny! Anyway we dug and towed him out with the patrol. We finally came to an area where you could camp and there were heaps of caravans out there - all fishing fanatics. We stopped there for lunch on the beach. Talked to some of the campers there who all seem to spend a couple of months here and it is very isolated. One of the lady fisher people gave Gerry a couple of pieces of calamari which we brought home for entree. After lunch and a bit of a walk around we came home via the bitumen road. Lucy was sick on the way home - she hasn't been well for a couple of days. Isabella helped me cook a chocolate cake in the weber and then all of us plus the Burkes went to the local cafe for fish and chips tea. Back to the van for cake and cup of tea.
