Mark cannot wait to leave the campsite at Nitmiluk. I take the kids to the pool while Mark finishes the tent pack up. When we leave the campsite all 3 of us are refreshed from our swim and poor Mark all hot and sweaty.

We spend tonight in Katherine in a cabin with outside on suite. There is a twilight community fair on late afternoon. Mark babysits Emily and I take William to the fair.

The fair is really well organised with lots of entertainment for the kids, food, live music, market stalls and community information. We meet up with Williams wee friend Gus from Edith Falls. They have a ball playing on the jumping castle, playing with bubbles, running around and getting slushies.

William has his first fairy floss and the only colour available is blue. It's not what I would choose for him. He is not the hugest fan and so fortunately does not eat too much!
