Mark cannot wait to leave the campsite at Nitmiluk. I take the kids to the pool while Mark finishes the tent pack up. We are in no rush when we pack up the campsite in Mataranka as its a short drive to Katherine. We arrive and find there are only a couple of campgrounds that take tents. We drive to check them out and are not taken with them. We decide to spend one night in Katherine and leave in the morning.
