Last night is the coldest it has been in ages. Many of the other campers in Yulara are unprepared for cold nights! Emily joins us in the bed and we and are toasty. William has adjusted to the camping now and sleeps nice and warm in his sleeping bag.
After packing up we have a quick stop at the IGA to stock up on snacks for the drive. We have no idea where we will end up but know it is going to be a long day! Emily is in fine form talking non stop and says ta ta to every car leaving the supermarket car park.
We hit the road and the only interesting event in the first leg of the journey is a dingo crossing the road in front of us.
We stop at Erlunda for lunch before travelling on to Marla and booking into a motel. Today we say goodbye to the Northern Territory, and are back in South Australia.
We stay in a surprising nice but dated motel room in Marla. There is lots of grass so Mark, William and Emily stretch their legs with a game of soccer. William plays his first game of pinball (he requests that I mention this in the blog!)
